the last 2 months have flown!

I can't believe it is 2010 and I haven't updated you on all of our wonderful Ultimutt's in 2 months. I am sorry and promise not to go that long again. I'll recap and update and then introduce a few of our new Ultimutt's.

November:
*Booth at the Jr. League Holiday Market-we got to show off all of our Ultimutts and talk to a lot of people about their babies and 'Granddogs'
*We collected food and toys for a local shelter
*We also wrapped up our 2nd round of training classes. All our Ultimutt's did wonderfullly

December:
*Pictures with Santa were fun for everyone! (except maybe Santa-thanks Stephen)
*Ultimutt experienced it's first snow! The dogs loved the snow and ice. Brook and I weren't as fond of it but watching them Christmas Eve and Christmas day playing and running was wonderful and worth the cold. For the majority of the dogs here it was their first snow and they LOVED it. We would leave the water bowl outside so it could freeze and then pour water over it. Ice water became their favorite activity. They bobbed for it, ran with it, dug for it, etc.
*Christmas-It was so fun to see what many of the owners brought for us to give the dogs on Christmas day. Even with the holiday's the dogs had lots of loving!
*We had our biggest day yet: 43 dogs and came within matching it 3 or 4 times during the month.
*Brook and I both took some vacation time to spend with our families-over the last 4 1/2 months the dogs have trumped our family time day in and day out - so a week with them was amazing. But we were both so ready to get back and see the dogs-we missed our kids!

We ended 2009 with a bang! We completed 4.5 months of our dream job and still love it every single day. Thank you for allowing your dogs to become a part of our lives.

New kids:
4 Labs: 2 chocolate Sonny/Fredo, 2 yellow Breck and baby Caddius
3 Yorkipoos: Bentley, Lola, Marley
3 Labradoodles/Goldendoodles:Belle, Bella, Gracie
2 Morkies: Chesney and Mollie-they are litter mates who went to different owners but get to play together here.
1 Westie baby: Marley-how precious is about all you can say
1 precious little mutt: some form of boxer mix now named Maddie. She had been run over and brought to us and we were able to get her healthy and have an amazing family take her.

I promise to write soon and Brook is working to upload some pictures for you. I've got to get back to the dogs. Thanks for reading.
